This project known as Elemental House Simple 3 "EHS3" is designed with the premise of building the house on top the porch just as Pierre Koening enclosed the porch to create his famous houses. This house is a house on the "hanger", a "sombrero" which provides broad shading and allows the enjoyment of indoor and outdoor at the same time. Not a new idea but a peculiar way to achieve that goal. Here is another elemental juxtaposition of the components of the house. The "hanger" will contain the living room, and the kitchen, while the sleeping quarters are located on the floor above. The serenity is achieved by the use of openess, slender columns and glass.
